Another Sympathy Card

I made two sympathy cards using just our in colors. The flowers on this one are stamped in Strawberry Slush; I made an identical card using Crisp Cataloupe in instead. As I mention these colors, I realize how many fruity colors we have in the Stampin' Up! line, including Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Pear Pizzazz, Cherry Cobbler, and Perfect Plum. I could have some fun with all the other food-related color names we have, but I think the fun was had by those selecting these names.

I love having framelits to cut holes wherever I want them. I used the smallest one from the Deco Labels Collection for this card. Note: Cut the shaped hole first before using the embossing folder so you don't smooth out the desired dimension achieved by the embossing folder.

I love the way we have framelits and punches that coordinate with our stamp sets! I used to spend forever cutting out images for the effect I wanted, but Stampin' Up! made it so much easier when they provided these options. I did use two different stamp sets in order to have the leafy images to complete my card, which coordinate with another set of framelits. However, the flowers are punched with the pansy punch. A cluster of Dazzling Details dots in flower centers added just a touch of bling.
