Triple Eleanor

I have a new follower and so I checked out her blog (and followed) One of Laura-Lee Doucet's posts was the inspiration for this card. I wanted a really special card for a special lady from a church where we lived while our children were growing up. I am sorry to have to miss her 80th birthday party, but my brother will be here this weekend and we get to see each other so seldom. He's coming from Indiana after his doctor's appointment, with a stop at our Aunt's home in Cedarville OH en route. Praying God will sustain him and that he will qualify for a liver transplant. He's also hoping to be moved high up on the list because he realizes that his medications are keeping him alive at this point. I'm also praying for safe travels.

As you can tell, I love this triple-layer technique. I even colored the flowers with a blender pen. Lots more going on with this card than my other samples using this technique. I'm wondering now if I could have added a fourth layer, using the label as the top layer. Then the petals of the flower would have overlapped the greeting portion. Products Used:
