Perk Up!

Such a simple and cheerful card! Final technique for our Watercolor Wonder Crayon technique class: simply color with the crayons on dark card stock. The colors show up very nicely. I tried using an Aqua Painter on these, but the color disappeared. Blender pens worked better for smoothing out the coloring, but they still removed some of the color. Merely coloring gives them the appearance of being chalked. I used Sahara Sand and Tempting Turquoise to color the percolator and just Tempting Turquoise for the mug. A little Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the heart added a touch of bling to the card.

This is a great card...and neat technique...love how bright it is with the , as you said, sort of chalky look.
