Petal Cone Die Class

Image
I finally took pictures of the items we made at my recent petal cone die class. One vase with flowers (Fun Flowers die), a heart pocket (there's actually a ribbon tied to the back for hanging, but it doesn't show in this photo), basket and ice cream cone card. I should have taken a close-up of the heart-pocket, but I think you can get the idea. I merely adhered the two pieces of cardstock to each other without folding on the other score lines. You could also remove the flaps from the front heart and stuff with treats, such as candy bars. Here is a close-up of the basket from a slightly different angle. I used Peach Parfait and Cajun Craze. The handle is made with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch. Here is a close-up of the ice cream cone card made with Soft Suede and Regal Rose card stock. The texture on the ice cream cone is created with the Perfect Details Texturz Plate.

Quick Wedding Card

I had decided I wanted to make a wedding card with my Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. All I needed to do was come up with the rest of the design. For my background, I used part of a sheet from Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper and layered it with Daffodil Delight card stock. The bottom greeting is attached with Stampin' Dimensionals, of course. Both the embossing folder and the designer series paper came from the Summer Mini Catalog. Products Used: Heard from the Heart stamp set, W 111644, $22.95, C 120006, $16.95 Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 123113, $7.95 Whisper White card stock, 100730, $8.50, 40 sheets, 8½" x 11" Daffodil Delight card stock, 119683, $6.95, 24 sheets, 8½" x 11" Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper, 122342, $10.95 Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, 119667, $5.95 Scallop Trim Border Punch, 118402, $15.95

Summer Mini with Triple Layer Blossom Punch

Here are two more cards we made at our Heartfelt Stampers' Stamp Fest. Both incorporate Image 3 of the Blossom Bouquet Tripple Layer Punch. The first card is built on a piece of 4¼" x 11" Whisper White card stock and incorporates Rose Red, Regal Rose and Daffodil Delight card stock and elements. The green stems are embossed with the new Wild Wasabi Stampin' Emboss Powder. The Rose Red seam binding is carried over from the Occasions Mini Catalog. These flowers each have a coordinating brad in the center and are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals, an item frequently used to pop up layers on our cards. The second card consists of mostly neutral colors with Cherry Cobbler flowers to provide a rich contrast. Once again, the card is built on Whisper White card stock, although cut to the usual 5½" x 8¼" before folding in half. Crumb Cake and Soft Suede provide the interesting background pieces. Finally the card is embellished with Crumb Cake seam binding and

Button Flower Cards

Today I am sharing three cards designed by Aly Schilling, my upline, for us to make at our recent Stamp Fest with the Heartfelt Stampers team of demonstrators. Each uses the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch from the Summer Mini Catalog with a button for the flower center. The stamp sets are also from the Summer Mini Catalog. For this first card, the stamp Hello Blossoms was colored with Baja Breeze, Elegant Eggplant and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers before stamping on card stock. The new Baker's Twine is great for running through buttons and tying tiny bows. The flower consists of images 1 and 3 from the punch, using Elegant Eggplant and Baja Breeze card stock. The card below features Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper along with Daffodil Delight and More Mustard card stock. Images 1 and 2 were punched using Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso card stock to form the flower, topped with a More Mustard button and Baker's Twine. The Bold Blossom stamp set provides

A Pat on the Back

I've been "missing in action" the last couple weeks—a trip to Ohio and preparation for a seminar kept me busy and essentially away from the computer. This card is the one Aly Schilling, my upline, made for me because I was 6th on our team of demonstrators in terms of sales for the month of April. Notice how she used pearls for the flower centers, both on the buttons and the stamped image. Products Used: Flower Fest stamp set, W 122278, $27.95; C 122280, $19.95 Real Red 5/8" Satin Ribbon, 117286, $8.95, 15 yards Designer Buttons, Brights, 119747, $8.95, 72 buttons Basic Pearls, 119247, $4.95 for 150 Whisper White Card Stock, 100730, $8.50, 40 sheets, 8½" x 11" Crumb Cake Card Stock, 120953, $6.95, 24 sheets, 8½" x 11" Early Espresso Card Stock, 119686, $6.95, 24 sheets, 8½" x 11" Real Red Card Stock, 102482, $6.95, 24 sheets, 8½" x 11" Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad, 119670, $5.95
