Grand Achievers Day

I made the guest list for Grand Achiever's Day held by my upline, Aly Schilling. Such a great day she planned for all of us, including a scrumptious BBQ lunch. Here is the invitation she sent to each of us:

Of course, the wording on the front was printed from her computer, but the rest is all Stampin' Up! products. Aly carried the Western theme through her decorations and the projects we stamped while there. I'll be sharing those in my next few posts.

"Out West" (W 117052, $19.95; C 120543, $14.95) is perfect stamp set for her invitations and some of her projects. She used Basic Black Classic Ink and Very Vanilla card stock for her images and then cut them out and mounted them with--you guessed it--Stampin' Dimensionals! She once said she uses Stampin' Dimensionals like she uses toilet paper! A little sponging with More Mustard Classic Ink gave everything that cowboy dusty look. The squares of designer series paper are from two different packs: "Newsprint" (117166) and "Build-A-Bear Workshop Pawsitively Prints" (117396); each pack is $9.95 for a dozen double-sided 12x12" sheets. The Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon (119263, $8.95, 15 yards) is tied with a piece of Hempt Twine (100982, $2.95, 12 yards). The whole design is framed by the Basic Black card.
