Very Vintage

I was playing around with my new Very Vintage jumbo wheel from the Occasions Mini Catalog (117693, $8.50) when I made this card. I then used the Vintage Label set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog (only available when you purchase $50 worth of product) for the Happy Birthday greeting. Chocolate Chip cardstock, ink and 1/4" grosgrain ribbon were used on the Bordering Blue card with Very Vanilla cardstock for the stamping and rolling. I dyed a flower from the Pretties Kit (109114, $29.95)) to match using the Bordering Blue ink pad. I actually laid the flower on the ink pad and rubbed it in with tweezers--not the proper way to dye them, but it worked. I added a flat pearl, also from the Pretties Kit, for the flower center. The Scallop Trim Border punch from the Sale-a-Bration catalog added a little fanciness to the Chocolate Chip cardstock behind the Very Vanilla.

I think the design of this wheel is my favorite yet. I hope to play with it some more. Ideas are popping into my head but it's too late tonight to work on any more of them!

I couldn't get this card to stay straight in the scanner, but I think you can get the idea.
