Sailing Home Lighthouse

I am so far behind on my blogging that I'm posting about cards I made for a class a couple months ago.  I love the Sailing Home Stamp set and designed a number of cards with that set. This is just one of them.

I had some designer series paper left from last year's color family paper stacks and incorporated a strip of that in this card.  There is something so appealing about light houses. And sea gulls. I love watching those feisty creatures. I had one in my driveway while my granddaughters and I were filling the bird feeder. I left the bin of seed on the driveway and we stood silently to watch him. They are such thieves by nature. So he crept up near the seed bin, then rushed in and took some seed and rushed away. He then acted like he hadn't done a thing. So funny.
