His Grace

I love the fact that Stampin' Up! included a meaningful faith-based stamp set in their occasions catalog. Somehow shades of purple just seem so appropriate with this set.  We made two different cards with this set at my March stamp class. I'll show the second one in tomorrow's post.

This one is fairly simple. The most difficult part is probably the Buffalo Check on the background paper and that's only because I seem to struggle to cover the background stamp completely. Hence the most helpful and greatly appreciated Stamparatus! However, this stamp appeared in the Holiday catalog and I'm not sure if it will show up in the next annual catalog or not, but I've listed it below anyway.

I have discovered that if I want to stamp an image with our classic stampin' pads, it's easy to blur the outlines if you use markers or blender pens. However, the Stampin' Blends work perfectly. So that's what I used to color the vine and flowers on this card.
