Painted Seasons, Succulents

Once I received the Painted Seasons stamp set with coordinating designer series paper, I just had to play around. I so often ignore my dsp, sometimes because I want to save it because I like it and then it is discontinued. So I am trying to be intentional about using my designer paper right away with its coordinating stamp sets. I didn't quite make it through all the designs, but I've made a pretty good start.

This particular card uses the succulents, both the stamp and the dsp. I've never cared much for the Lemon Lime Twist, but I find I really like it in this card. As I made this card, I thought the Flirty Flamingo coordinated better with the paper than the Petal Pink listed as the color in the designer series paper.

I used the Layering Squares Framelits for the stamped image as well as the Flirty Flamingo mat behind it. What I like about using the Framelits is that I could cut the square out of the middle of the Flirty Flamingo layer. No one would know there is a square opening because it gets covered by the dsp.

This bundle is only available through Sunday, March 31, so you need to order ASAP if you want it. Remember, even Paper Pumpkin subscriptions qualify.
