Tea Together Stamp Set

As you can probably guess from the name of my blog, I truly love my tea! I have 31 flavors of loose tea in my lazy susan cupboard, only five of which are not black tea! And those five are rooibus, or red teas, which are technically not tea at all since they contain no tea leaves. Like herbal "teas".

So when I spotted the Tea Together stamp set in the Occasions Catalog, I was thrilled. And then the coordinating framelits in the Sale-A-Bration catalog just put it over the top for me. Although this card was designed for Mother's Day, it's great for any time! And I think the verse is appropriate for a mother to send to her daughter as well.

When I designed this card, I decided not to do much stamping but to use pastel designer series paper from the Tropical Escape set. When you look at my sample, try to picture a setting on a table. I sought to achieve the look of wall paper with a sampler hanging on the wall and the table set with a lace-edged tablecloth and teapot and accompanying cup and saucer. It looks so calming and so inviting. Time to brew a pot of tea!

I spoke to one of my class attendees earlier today and she has already used the card we made at class and is anxious for her order to come so she can make another one!
