Bloomin' Birthday

There's just something about this Designer Series Paper that I really like. Of course, the use of dsp does determine what color cardstock and inks I use on my card. Once again, I'm mixing elements—dsp and stamp sets that weren't intended to go together but do.

I originally thought I would make this card into a Valentine, but decided it was too dark in colors. Yet, I believe the very darkness adds a rich quality to the card.  The cotton ribbon bow is Crushed Curry, a discontinued color.
