Decorative Masks

I wasn't sure how I would use the new Decorative Masks that Stampin' Up! brought into the new catalog. I figured they would be great for creating my own designer paper and set about experimenting. This is my first project. I think I want to try embossing with it another time.

The Decorative Masks come in sets of two, one of stars and another or stars, aptly named "Hearts & Stars". The other set available is called "Dots & Stripes". You guessed it—those masks are for making big dots and stripes. I'm thinking that you could use the stripes one direction, then turn them and create your own checks! It's easy to tell which set I used. This card was the perfect opportunity to use scraps of my Designer Series Paper from the Kind Koala card we made at my June class.
