Playing with Photopolymer

I had no idea how I would feel about our photopolymer stamps. So I determined to order at least one set in this new medium so I could get a feel for them. They are so sticky they adhere well to the acrylic blocks. Being able to see through them for placement is a plus. I ordered the Bordering Blooms stamp set and got to work. My first thought was that I could make the flowers look like they were growing out of the leafy border, but the result was more like two different borders. The one I chose to do for my stamp class was much easier. And I love the Lost Lagoon and Chocolate Chip color combination. Truth be told, I was also trying to work in the new In Colors as I designed my cards. And the new Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder complements the stamp images so well!
