My Granddaughter's Pick

I sometimes wonder if life can get any busier. Just when I think things are slowing down, I'm inundated once again. The past few weeks have been like that. But I finished sewing for my granddaughter's birthday the same day as our get-together, attended all the special events (like a Keith and Kristyn Getty concert) and now I'm trying to catch up on all those necessary things, like cleaning, so I can spend some time in my stamp room. Sigh!

When Kyah, my granddaughter, saw this birthday card I had made for one of my classes, she said she wanted it. So, of course, I gave it to her. My little four-year-old has strong opinions on what she likes and dislikes!  Anyway, I used the Thinlits once again—the Label Card Thinlits for the card plus one of the elements from the Circle Card Thinlits. Below is a scan of the card closed:

Here is a photo of it standing open:

Aren't the balloons adorable? They are simply made with the Small Oval punch and the foot from the owl (Owl Builder punch), then popped out with Stampin' Dimensionals. The exact same card looks just as great with the candles in the pack of dsp as it does with the balloons.
