Evergreen Silent Night

I had so much fun creating this card. However, it wasn't until I was preparing the list of materials that I realized the Snow Burst textured embossing folder was only in last year's holiday mini catalog. But it was so perfect for this design that I used it with my class anyway.

I used Shimmery White card stock for everything but the base card—that's Garden Green. One piece of Shimmery White went through the Big Shot in the folder. On another piece, I stamped the three trees and then cut around them, leaving them attached for the snow-scape effect. The two outer trees were embossed in white to simulate snow-covered branches. I then stamped the words to Silent Night in Cherry Cobbler over the Garden Green tree on another piece of Shimmery White card stock, added the star and cut out the whole image.

When assembling this card, I did not put any adhesive under the top sections of the trees, although I did attach the final center tree with Stampin' Dimensionals. I love the texture and the 3-D look of this card.
