Just Birthday Cards

At this year's Oktoberfest, our final class of the weekend was birthday cards, many using items from the Big Top Product Suite. The first card incorporated the Sweet Centers stamp set and Circle Treat Cups as well as the Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper. You will find that dsp in all the cards included in this post.

The lollipop is made with one of the images in the Sweets for the Sweet stamp set and adhered to a sucker stick. The little bag tied over the top added to the realistic look of this 3-D card. I think this card is going to my granddaughter for her second birthday coming up the 24th of this month. Even the Tempting Turquoise background has dimension because we used the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Along with the Big Top Birthday dsp, we used the Up, Up & Away stamp set. Note how perfectly the stamp set coordinates with the designer paper. And, of course, our Stampin' Up! colors all coordinate, whether inks and markers, card stock or designer series paper.

This adorable card is going to my niece for her third birthday the 14th of this month. Under the Big Top is the stamp set we used here, as well as the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
For this card, we used the Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper, the Petite Pennants Builder punch, one of the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, and the Patterned Party stamp set.
Ah, the simplicity of this card! We used two stamp sets: Sweets for the Sweet and Bring on the Cake along with the Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper. Toothpicks serve as the sticks for the pinwheels. Oh, there's also some paper piercing in the strip of Peach Parfait card stock.
