Christmas 3-D Items
I'm showing off more items made at this year's Oktoberfest. I just love this cute stocking box. We actually sandwiched a box cut with the Box #2 Die between two stockings. We layered card stock and Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Designer Series Paper to make the pieces sturdier. Of course, we had another die for the stocking with its cuff, heel and toe trimmings—Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die. The Stocking Accents Die gave us the ornament used in place of the letter "O". The red glimmer paper and the glimmer dots on the dsp really dress up this package. I'm picturing it with candy canes sticking up above the cuff.
Isn't this bird house gift box adorable? I lost one of my glimmery red berries and will need to cut another one, but it's still cute. The ribbon on the side of the roof enables the gift recipient to lift the top to access the contents and then to close it up again when finished. The holly leaves and berries are also cut with the Stocking Accents die for the Big Shot. The fancy circle, however, is cut with the Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die.
This package is perfect for a few Hershey Nuggets or other such candy. Itis simply made with the Two Tags Die and extra dsp cut to form a box in the middle. The front is decorated using the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set as well as some of our punches.
