Music at Nature's Pace

Just spent last Saturday at a Stamp Fest put on by my upline for demonstrators on her team. I don't always participate in the shoebox swap, but decided to do so this time. We each chose a stamp set new to our 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog and designed a card with it. We then put all the supplies necessary to make the card in a shoebox and swapped until every one had a chance to make all the cards. I think there was one I ran out of time and energy to make, although I really liked it and was wishing I had made it since it was a great masculine card.

Anyway, this is the card I designed using the Nature's Pace stamp set. I have to chuckle because I have never really liked the River Rock color, yet I've featured it in both cards designed for the two swaps I participated in. It paired so nicely with the Early Espresso. I used pastel Stampin' Write Markers to lightly color the image, taking care not to press hard with my markers, so little color was needed.
