It's a Scottish Thistle

When I spotted the new stamp set, Nature's Pace, in the new Idea Book & Catalog, I just had to have it! My Scottish heritage made me want the thistle image, used in the card below; my love of music drew me to the music staff; and I live in grape country so I had to have the cluster of grapes. I'm not so sure about the bee, but I love the floral wreath around it. And bees seem to be popular in stamp art these days, so...

Another item in the new catalog I was just dying to purchase is the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folders Set. Isn't the oval frame behind the thistle impressive? I had actually planned to incorporate the music staff below the image, but the size I chose for my card made that impossible. Next time!
