Soft Spring

When I spotted the bargello technique on splitcoaststampers.com, I quickly added this project to my designer paper stamp-a-stack class. We were going to do three cards of each of three designs, but I added this fourth card (we made just one). If you've been to very many of my classes, you know that I often throw in something extra because I just can't resist sharing something else I came up with after designing the class.

This card features the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper and the Elements of Style stamp set. I have to admit, the bargello technique is time consuming, but using our Sticky Pages sure does help! Just cut your 12" x 12" dsp in half and then into 1/2" and 3/4" strips. Stagger the strips as you attach them to one side of your sticky page cut to the size you desire. Trim the excess, peel off the backing and attach to your card stock.
