Autumn Leaves

I had planned to use this card for my holiday card class as the second Thanksgiving card, but decided I don't need two time-consuming cards in the same class! Although simple, cutting out all the leaves does take extra time and we're going to make six cards in one evening. So I converted it to a birthday card for my personal use.

The card is made with Crumb Cake card stock and Woodland Walk Designer Series Paper. Once again I used the Top Note Bigz Die for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. I stamped the leaves from the Autumn Splendor stamp set on scraps of card stock scraps using Chocolate Chip classic ink. After cutting out each leaf with my paper snips, I applied just one strip of snail adhesive down the center of the Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler leaves. That leaves them free to stick out just a little. However, I did use Stampin' Dimensionals behind the Cajun Craze leaf. "Birthday Wishes" comes from the Watercolor Trio stamp set sold in the expired Summer Mini Catalog. I love the font on those greetings and continue to use the set.

Once again, Stampin' Up! makes it easy to coordinate everything! In the pack of Neutrals Brads I found two in Crumb Cake to add that finishing touch.
