Stamp a Stack of Christmas Cards

For just $15, customers came Monday morning or will come tomorrow evening to stamp a stack of Christmas cards, enabling them to take home a dozen handmade cards. Just four simple designs, three cards of each. So much fun!

The first card used a number of items from the Holiday Mini Catalog, which expires January 4, 2010. I don't think I've ever seen a mini catalog I like so much! The stamp set is "Berry Christmas", the specialty designer series paper is Christmas Cocoa, and the ribbon is from the Mistletoe Ribbon Originals - all from the mini catalog! Only the classic ink and card stock (Real Red, Soft suede and Whisper White) are standard items from the current catalog.

The card below also used paper from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series in addition to Soft Suede, Real Red and Whisper White card stock. The stamp set, "Serene Snowflakes", is another set available only through the Holiday Mini Catalog, although the greeting on the bottom comes from the "Heard From the Heart" stamp set in the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog. The center of the snowflake is adorned with a half pearl from the Pretties Kit, but a rhinestone brad is a nice alternative. The lacy look is accomplished by punching both sides of the Whisper White card stock with the Eyelet Border punch. Real Red grosgrain ribbon added the final touch.

The "Snow Swirled" stamp set provided everything we need to stamp this card, including the verse inside (2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog). Colors used here are Old Olive, Ruby Red and Very Vanilla. The embellishments are gold brads and taffeta ribbon from the Mistletoe Ribbon Originals (Holiday Mini Catalog). The torn edge and the punched card stock (Scallop Oval) soften the otherwise straight lines of this card.

"Delightful Decorations" (Holiday Mini Catalog) is the stamp set used for this Bashful Blue and Night of Navy Christmas card. It was so easy to add dimension to this design because Stampin' Up! provided a matching Ornament punch. Merely stamp the image on Whisper White card stock and punch it out before mounting it with Stampin' Dimensionals. But before I did that, I used the new shimmer paint in platinum for the snowflakes in the background. The strings are simply drawn in with a white gel pen.

Quick and easy designs for a couple hours of fun stamping and advance preparation for Christmas mail. Any one of them could also be used for Christmas thank you cards.
