Love this Teapot!

Image
Being the tea-drinker that I am, I just had to order "A Nice Cuppa" stamp set with its accompanying "Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies" and "Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack".  This card uses only one stamp from the set but the teapot, spoon and heart are framelits. If you look closely, you will see that I sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the spoon to look like sugar. A fun card that I've made into a belated birthday card by using a verse from an old birthday greeting set inside. I also rounded the corners on one side of this card using our old punch, but you could use the Project Life Corner punch (135346, $8.00) for slightly larger rounded corners. Products Used: A Nice Cuppa stamp set (11 photopolymer stamps), 140683, $17.00 Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies (12), 140624, $29.00 Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack (48 sheets 6" x 6"), 140567, $8.00 Crushed Curry 8½" x 11" cardstock (24), 131199, $7.0

Traveler Stamp Set for Masculine Birthday Card

Image
As I was preparing for the Christmas Bazaar, I made sure to include some masculine birthday cards. It seems the Traveler stamp set and the World Map stamp go together so well, but I had never used the triple layer technique with the World Map before. Admittedly, I had to play with it because I had forgotten the measurements for the individual layers, yet even the slightly off cards turned out well. [The sequins are actually leftovers from the Cottage Greetings Card Kit, Project Life.] Products Used: Traveler stamp set (6), W 134510, $28.00; C 134513, $20.00 World Map background stamp, W 130342 $20.00; C 130345, $15.00 Birthday Blossoms (8), W 139167, $27.00; C 139471, $19.00 Basic Black 8½" x 11" cardstock (24), 121045, $7.00 Crumb Cake 8½" x 11" cardstock (24), 120953, $7.00 Archival Basic Black Stampin' Pad,  140931, $7.00 Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad, 126975, $6.50 Basic Black and Whisper White Baker's Twine (25 yards), 134576, $3.00

Sympathy in Soft Colors

Image
I always seem to need sympathy cards when I don't have any. So, in the process of preparing for the Christmas bazaar, I decided to include a couple sympathy cards. In a sense, the stamp sets I chose are from both ends of life's spectrum - Birthday Blossoms for the flowers and Thoughts & Prayers for the words of sympathy. Since I was running out of Whisper White envelopes, I decided to use Very Vanilla. Then, because I had some embellishments left over from the Cottage Greetings Card Kit, I incorporated the same color scheme. I used the reverse punch on the Envelope Punch Board to round opposite corners. Products Used: Birthday Blossoms stamp set (8), W 139167, $27.00; C 139471, $19.00 Thoughts & Prayers stamp set (8), W 128751, $26.00; C 127805, $19.00 Very Vanilla 8½" x 11" cardstock (40), 101650, $8.50 Mint Macaron 8½"x 11" cardstock (24), 138337, $7.00 Basic Gray Archival Stampin' Pad, 140932, $7.00 Mint Macaron Classic Stampin'

Christmas Bazaar

Just have to share photos of my table at the Christmas Bazaar this past weekend. Did fairly well, although I had so much stuff that I still brought a lot home. Hope to do better another year.
