"Always" Valentine

Image
I've come to love the "Always" stamp set. You will see it featured in the January card kit (two posts down). The card below is one I created with that stamp set and the Kiwi Kiss designer paper backed with solid Kiwi Kiss cardstock. The card itself is Pink Pirouette cardstock. The ink and ribbon are Regal Rose, as is the card stock framing the heart image. I used the paper piercer in the two bottom corners of the white cardstock. I attached the layered image with stampin' dimensionals. It is a simple design that could be easily adapted for use as a wedding card - just change the wording. Note how the choice of colors and layout completely change the mood from those cards featured in the January card kit.

Did you know that the Big Shot can even be used for fabric? Kriss Huels made this wonderful table runner from fabrics cut with the Big Shot die cut machine available from Stampin' Up! It was one of the gifts at our demonstrator team Christmas party held up by the recipient.

Beyond Cards

Our demonstrator team Christmas party included a gift exchange with every item made with Stampin' Up products.  I made coasters that were actually a big hit.  I figured that we live in grape country, so the coasters should feature grapes.  So I used the cluster of grapes  from the "Fruit Stand" stamp set.   I'm so sad the set is being retired!  But it's still available through January 18.  And it's 10% off today and tomorrow.  Click on the link to my web site and you can order it on-line.  Or e-mail me right away. I love this "Snow" picture by Linda Jennejahn! Another exciting picture is this one by Jen Burgess: Who would have thought to incorporate a mirror into a decorative frame with Stampin' Up products?  Well, Jen Rios Raner did! Wintry days make us long for hot chocolate!  And Christine Luce designed the perfect way to give cocoa and treats to go with it: Fern Letger made a wonderful card organizer!  I have two pictures for you, one of the

Christmas is almost here and there are lots of packages to wrap.  And all those packages need tags!  Enjoy the samples I've made.  Many are made with Stampin ' Up's "Heritage Holiday" stamp set.  Just the right size for tags and the set includes the necessary To/From stamp.  Two are made with the "Winter Post" set and one utilizes the branch silhouette from "A Cardinal Christmas."  The last two sets are in the Holiday Mini Catalog which expires January 18 th .
