More Christmas Tags

I've been super busy trying to sort through unused cards (I have to admit I have more than any one person can possibly use) in hopes of selling some of them at the Christmas Bazaar. And in the midst of all that, I've been stamping and punching and threading more gift tags to sell. Here are a few of them:

They are all using retired cardstock. The wisemen are from a discontinued stamp set, but the snowmen are current. The stars are Gold Glimmer Paper cut with framelits.  Such fun! I've made so many Christmas gift tags that if they don't sell, I'll be set for years!

Magi Come to Adore

I'm still busily preparing for the Christmas bazaar next weekend. Because the bazaar is at a Christian conference center, I've made a number of card sets carrying the biblical message of Christmas. This retired stamp set (Come to Bethlehem) is perfect. And I like this design better than those I've made in past years. The champagne glitter glass on this card is also discontinued; I wish I had used it more when it was still available for purchase because it is much less messy than our finer glitter.

The colors I've used for this card are Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla. A little dab of Gold Glitz Dazzling Details in the center of the star added an extra touch of bling to complement the glitter glass.

The Resounding Joy

Remember this old stamp set? I haven't used it in ages. But as I worked with retired designer papers getting ready for the Christmas Bazaar, I wanted stars to go with the couple strips I had left of this particular design. I love the way it turned out!

I used the new fine tip glue to edge the large star and then sprinkled it with glitter. Messy, but effective. And, of course, our Gold Glimmer paper was perfect for the additional stars.

Stocking Gift Tags

I've had great fun using the retired stocking punch and retired Christmas Designer Series Paper as well as the discontinued lace on these gift tags. We even had heavy-weight Christmas card stock one year that I've used  for the base tags. I love the way they turned out. And they were great fun to make. These are also for the upcoming Christmas Bazaar.

My thought is that the recipients of these tags could cut off the To/From section and use them as ornaments, especially because even the reverse side is decorative.

(Sorry the above close-up is blurry; must have moved...)

Tag-Ornaments for Bazaar

I made these several years ago for another bazaar and they were good sellers. So I decided to make more for the Christmas bazaar at LeTourneau Christian Center the first weekend of December.

Christmas House Ornaments

Preparing for a craft bazaar is a great time to use up a lot of those retired products still in my craft room! Here are ornaments I made using the old milk carton Bigz die and some retired Christmas paper as well as the old snowflake punch.

Wondrous Wreath with Boughs & Berries

When I first used the Boughs & Berries Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, I was concerned that the embossing was larger than the normal card size, but it works very nicely, as you can see on this card. And I've come to love the Hardwood background stamp. I first used it for the sign on the penguin's igloo home, which I posted a couple months ago. Of course, I find the Wondrous Wreath stamp set with its coordinating framelits is one I won't part with easily! I just love it!

For All Things

My last stamp class included one Thanksgiving card along with three Christmas cards. The stamp set, For All Things, makes such simple yet beautiful cards. I actually made this card again as a Fall birthday card. Sponge daubing made the greeting pop, especially as the whole piece was raised with Stampin' Dimensionals. A little Dazzling Details on the acorn caps provided extra bling.

My just-turned 6-year-old granddaughter joined our class, demonstrating how easy it is for anyone to stamp and make cards. She's such a bubbly little girl that she added lots of fun to our class. Here she is holding up the cards she made:

She attended the class and then stayed the night with me, which is why she's in her nightgown for the second picture. We had such fun!
