Gifts of Kindness Thank You Card

This is the final card from the gift set we made in early December. Each card used the same basic color scheme and the same in color designer series paper stack. I merely flipped over the cut-out from the previous card and designed around it. One of the things I like about the Gifts of Kindness stamp set is all the greetings it has plus the fact that the font is just a little different from many of the other stamp sets. A simple card, to say the least. Plus it is easy to see how perfectly our papers, inks and ribbons coordinate.

The flat but elegant bow consists of two small pieces of ribbon. First you make a loop from one piece in whatever size you want your bow. Fasten the ends with a glue dot. You may wish to add a glue dot between the layers as well. Then attach a very small piece of ribbon at the back, covering the overlap. Wrap this piece around the loop; fasten on back with another glue dot. Trim the end so it doesn't show from the front. Merely attach to the ribbon you've laid across the card. You could use a smaller piece of ribbon behind the bow and dovetail the ends, but I wanted the effect of a ribbon wrapped around my two layers before attaching to the Whisper White card front.
