Stamp or Treat!

One of the activities at our recent Oktoberfest (stamping retreat for demonstrators on the Heartfelt Stampers team) was Stamp or Treat! We were each to prepare some container or wrapper for candy using Stampin' Up! products. As you scroll through the following pictures, you will see that a lot of us used the Big Shot. The first one is my creation using Tangerine Tango card stock, Top Note Bigz Die for the Big Shot, gold brads and stamps from Harvest Home and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets. One of our creations at the retreat was this bag which we adorned with fabric cut with Tasteful Trim Bigs XL die (Holiday Mini Catalog), Bear Bigz die and Kooky Spooky die for the Big Shot utilizing the Big Shot Fabric Adhesive Roll (Holiday Mini Catalog) and an iron. I've added two more candy containers, one cut with the Scallop Square Bigz Die and one with the Matchbox Bigz xl Die. A Big Two

You haven't heard from me in a while because we've been cruising in New England and Canada. We started in Boston, stopping in Bar Harbor, Sydney, Halifax, Prince Edward Island and Quebec before winding up in Montreal. I have to admit the flight home was almost enough to ruin the great time we had on the cruise. Waiting around in airports, flying over our destination before waiting again in another airport only to fly to our final destination. And the security is getting ridiculous. But there's nothing we can do about that but focus on the good times instead of the frustrating times. My niece just turned two years old and I'm late getting this birthday card to her, which is why I only stamped the first part of the stamp from the "On Your Birthday" stamp set before punching it out with our Word Window Punch. I then folded over the empty space of the punched out card stock and tucked it under the Real Red mat for the designer paper (Play Date). Such an easy card
